Radius arm bushings
Any trick to getting new bushings (the outside one) on? I am trying to flatten out the arm by jacking up the suspension but there is no room at the top for the bushing to go in and the inside bushing is all the way in, any suggestions?

first, make sure that you have the correct bushings. It would appear the the radius arm is not protruding through the bracket far enough. As a last resort try using a come-along to seat the arm through the bracket. Also, I've seen the new bushings are larger in dia. and the heads of the bracket bolts prevent full seating. Lee

One other thing. I've also had this problem when trying to put the nut on with the large washer. I put the nut on, tighten against the bushing itself and pull the arm into the bracket just enough to get the washer space, then remove the nut and install the washer and nut together. Lee
