Before you go to sleep after a night of adult beverages, drink a large glass of cold water and do the same when you wake up. This helps your body rid itself of all the toxins and also provides your brain with water which has been sapped by the alcohol. The hangover headache is caused mostly from dehydration.
Or if I'm feeling like a down evening, Hurricanes are the way to go ~homemade ones too, not with the nasty TGIFriday's mixers.

Morning after is usually too late to do anything about a strong hangover...prevention the night before does it for me, about a half-gallon of water before I go to bed, and can wake up feeling like a million bucks.
There is no "hair of the dog" option... So I haven't voted...
In all seriousness, I ain't ever had a hangover (maybe I cheat though), I always drink about 3/4 a gallon of water a day, and have a multivitamin tablet daily.
So the primary causes of a hangover (dehydration, and mineral loss) are eliminated.
But nothing beats a nice large glass of orange juice, and some swine and eggs for breakfast, whether I might have been "on the gas" the previous night or not.
A glass of water for every drink you had before going to bed, wake up, drink a bottle of gatorade or a couple glasses of awter, eat a good breakfast - eggs, bacon etc. and if a headache is present in the morning, pop a couple ibuprofens down with that morning fluid intake and you're good to go. Worked for me last night...
