LED replacement lights for '68
I'm about 75% done on an almost-complete restoration project on a 68 2WD. I have wired up Painless kit to the rear, and am hoping to replace existing lights with LED.
I see that Crutchfield sells replacement bulbs (along with others, I'm sure). I also came across this guy's analysis- www.telusplanet.net/public/ddness/01_2.html
Anyone have an idea on the "plug n' ligh" option for this?
How much modification (if any) will it take?
One idea is to get the 2-light of a 68, and replace the back-up bulb spot for another LED, thereby getting a total of 4 LED lights. Then a roll-pan could include a BACKUP light feature.
IDEAS?
I DO APPRECIATE IT!!
