Color input

I'm probably asking for it here, but...does anybody have color suggestions for a 66? I'm stuck. The truck should be ready for paint next month and I WAS going to go with Wimbleton White with red steelies. The problem is that white is BORING! But also cool. I'm just looking for other opinions/ideas to add to my confusion. So, opinions welcome (weird or not).

Go though the galleries of the 61-66 trucks for ideas, I did mine is a green and silver tutone because the old white was boring.

Talking colors

I will be doing mine with a two tone also, metalic blue with metalic silver I will be doing some graphics as well. What I did (seeing as how I don't have the software in my computer) I took a good picture of the side of my truck printed in black and white (make a lot of copies) then with color markers started drawing out my design. went through a lot of pictures but I believe I have it the way I want it. problem is It's now going to cost more to paint it OH well I just need to save a few more pennies then I paint.

Redmanbob, I like that combo. I'm kinda looking at a single color, though.

What was the truck originally? Mine is Rangoon Red single tone, that's what I am going with.

Redmanbob, That is one sharp truck! Nice work.

My best guess is that it was Wimbleton White/single color. The paint code on it doesn't match up to any codes that I have found but I've found white paint underneath the many other colors that appears to be the first color on the truck. I like the color, but would just like to be a little different.

Just had my truck painted Chrome Yellow. The truck was orignally chrome yellow so it matches the interior, engine bay, etc. Chrome Yellow is awesome! However, it is not a modest color, yellow gets up and screams at you, it really gets your attention and is a real head turner! I love my 66 F-100 Chrome Yellow Flareside.

Folks, Please use links to your photos, those that still use dialup complain about the pictures are slowing down their time here.

What's the "Olde Girls" Original Colour?
Could go for that as an Option, instead of being the same as Eveyone else & wish to change her paint scheme, be original & go w/ what she originally came w/ Red OME rims.
