Window Problem
Need a little help. Wife advises that she cannot get the passenger side door window to go up. It will go down, but not up. It always hs been a little slow in closing. Any help would be appreciated. I tried a search but it is broke with no relief until this weekend. Thanks. Vehicle a 2000 X Limited.

Troubleshooting the problem revealed that the white wire with the yellow stripe from the drivers side switch to the passenger side switch appears to be open. The motor works both ways when "hot wired" and the window mechanism moves freely. All switches work properly. I ran out of time, but I will locate the break in the wire and either splice it ir replace it. The window has always gone up slowly which may be due to the wire being pinched during manufacture. I will let you all know on the actual fix when completed. Thanks everyone for your knowledge found in a forum search.
