Hi, I have A Q. to ask.
Can a Dana 44 Ring and pinion be swapped in to a Dana 60 axle?
The Dana 60 I have is a 4.56 and it is on a 3/4 ton. I have a set of 4*4 axles from a mid seventies 1/2 ton Dodge that have a 3.23 ratio. I am guessing that the axles are a 44 instead of a 60.
a bit more actually with iron at $40 + per ton. That should get you a supersized combo at Wendys .
Now if your looking for Dodge stuff Call Chris at Ventures off-road and truck parts. Here in Ogden UT. He's on Pennsylvania Ave.
I don't have his number handy now but you should be able to find him internet yellow pages.
Tell him Dane from Ford Auto Wrecking sent you.
IT might get you a discount. maybe not, most likely a 20% markup.
