Factory LSD

I've been driving the Bronco a bit more lately (I broke my Toyota).

It acts like its got an LSD, I bought it from the original owners which arn't really the type to modify a rig.

What's got me is that its the base model Bronco; No power windows/locks and the basic rubber floors.

could this rig have an LSD or is that I'm imagining things?

Thanks,

It was an option extra. At least on the 81. Which is the only year I have extencive paperwork on.

You could have a truck with no other options except that one.

It seems the most popular options was Ammeter and oil guages without tach, automatic transmission, power steering and brakes, extra and or super cooling, limited slip, dual tanks, etc...

and the most popular packages is one of the towing or camper special packages, that contained some of the above at reduced cost.

well you could always just check it. jack the truck up and spin the rear tires by hand see if the both move in the same direction or look on the door tag for a letter in fron of the 2 digit axle number.

No letter in front of the 19, I didn't get the rear jacked up, but I was playing today and no matter what I did, both tires spun.

If both tires spun, then I would think that it was a limited slip/locker rear end.

I know when I spin my tires on my 81F150 2WD, just one tire spins.

Worst comes to worst, you can always pop out the third member, or if it has a cover just pop that off.
