Question

1997 PSD Cuts Off

I have a 1997 F350 Crew Cab XLT 4X4 PSD manufacturer date 10/96. I have had it sitting for about 3 weeks. when I drive my truck now it has been cutting off at stop lights and slow traffic. It starts right back up sometimes take a few seconds to start moving. Any suggestions as to what is causing this problem?

Sounds like another cps(cam position sensor) victim. You'll want to change it soon or it may leave you stranded. Apperently this part is a common problem.

CPS buy one from international for ~$100
Or if you have a chip plugged into the pcm, it could cause stalling issues.

get you a spare for the glove box also. thats how bad these things are.
