nonono i dont have the auto or push button 4wheel dr i have the manual type not sayin they did it them selves either i was just checkin to make sure that someone hadnt switched it to the 4wheel drive position it was still in the 2wheel drive position where it should be thats the only thing i thought would make it jerk
Have you lifted the front axle to see if the wheel bearing assemblies are bad? Have you checked the ball joints?
Also, have you checked that the hubs were actually unlocked by checking the axle rotation? If the axles can't spin freely, then the hubs are the culprit.
Your truck is pretty new to have the problem that I think it has. If it is still under warranty I would take it to the dealer.
If it were a little older truck I would rigjht away suspect inadequate limited slip additive. Chattering in slow reverse tight turns is almost the textbook example of the major symptom.
On an 06 I don't know but older models used about 2 tubes of LS additive. I use I think Stalube PowerLoc. It looks like a fat tube of toothpaste and meets the Ford spec.
Your door sticker should have a code for the differntial which you can then look up in the manual. The differential also usually has a metal tag with something like ###LS###. The LS means you have it.
Also could be you are low on fluid. There was also a TSB on the Drive shaft slip joints not slipping and needing some Silicon grease.
