Need Help with Code Alarm CA670 Install
Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this forum and have a few questions about the Code Alarm I'm installing in my 02 Lightning. I'm using the install manual that came with the alarm and the reference manuals at gemsen. I'm still in the planning phase. I want to make sure I know exactly which wires to splice into.
1) Does the negative unlock/positive lock(blue) wire on the alarm connect to the door lock(pink/yellow) wire on the truck?
2) The answer to the last question should answer this one...Does the negative lock/positive unlock(green) wire on the alarm connect to the door unlock(pink/green) wire on the truck?
3) Does the Unlock switch sense input(lt blue/green) wire on the alarm connect to the Passenger door unlock(pink/orange) wire on the truck? The code alarm manual says only make this connection if you are using the factory transmitter to arm/diasarm, I'm not. It does seem like the 2nd stage unlock(blue/green) wire on the alarm would need to be connected to the Passenger door unlock for the priority drivers door unlock to function correctly. Is that correct?
4) Do the positive and negative door trigger wires on the alarm both get connected to the dome light on the truck? Does this connection affect the priority drivers door unlock feature and the usage of the keypad?
