i would think on a 2wd it would be like an f-150 and come with the upper A arm and the ball joint as one assembly. I think you'd just be able unbolt it from the knuckle and unbolt the 2 bolts attaching to the frame and pull the old one and and install the new one. Im not sure my 350 is 4X4 but my old f-150 was 2wd and thats what it was like
2wd. those are easy. They are not like a f-150, no upper controll arm, they are still using a TTB, in the front of the 2wd super dutys, so this is how you do it,
Take of your wheel and tire,
pull your brake caliper, and set it aside, no need to remove the hose, just the two bolts that hold on the braket,
Take off your tie rod end,
Remove the hub, to do this you remove the grase cap, pull the cotter pin, and spin of the nut, then pull on the hub it will come right off,
once thats off, you loosen the nut clamping the top joint, and take off the nut holding in the bottom joint, using a pickle fork, or by hitting the beam where the ball joint goes through, remove the spindle assembly.
now you need a ball joint press, press out the lower, press out the upper, and replace the upper, then you can install the old lower, but if it were mine, i would use a new, then all back togather the same way it came apart.
