03 Expy with driver seat problems.

Has any body have a problem with the driver seat not moving forward nor backwards? (up & down work fine ) This happens sporadiclaly, this is the third time I 've had this problem, the first two times under warranty. The first time the motor was replaced @ -15K, which they had my Expy for a day and a half, the second time @ 34K they told me they were going to replace the motor again but they only had the vehicle for 3/4 of the day (kinda odd). The third time, here resently 37K, I went to the dealer while it was not working and showed them. I told the service rep that this had occured duing warranty twice and that it has started again out of warranty. He told me to bring it back during normal duty hours and they will check it out and they will try to see how they can help me. He told me that they have had issues with that problem.
Any info on this problem will be helpful.
Should I try to fix it my self or take it back to the dealer?

Well, I took the Expy to the dealer yesterday, After I called Ford customer service. After telling them the problem and the story behind it I was told to take it back to the dealer. I was also told that it would be up to the dealer if I would have to pay. The dealer had the Expy til today, I was told that the seat finally malfunctioned and they were going to replace the seat tracks, at no charge to me.
I hope this is the end of this problem.

the seat tracks can bind causing the motor to draw too many amps and overheat and melt the fuse in the motor.

I have the same problem with my 97 Expy E/B...Sometimes it takes a while but it eventually moves a bit at a time fowards or backwards. I thought it was just a bad contact. I've never brought it in i just don't mess with it at all.
