Radiator air scoop
Hello....
Now that summer is close by, I've been thinking about all the ways to make sure my 1990 Ranger dosen't overheat.
I noticed the air scoop (is that the correct name of it?) undeneath my raditor is loose and hanging down, especially on one side.
My question is: Does that scoop make a significant difference in cooling my truck, especially in summer?

I don't have a 91, but I would think that anything that the factory put in place to direct air, would have some impact, those with earilier model rangers, I'm sure will be jumping in soon to, give you more insight.

if you dont want it to overheat you can:
change the fluid, put in a new 50/50 mix
change the thermostate
blow out the radiator with a power wash
if it still overheats you have bigger problems. you dont need an air duct at this point
