They are almost like a cover type deal.. If you pull on the base of it the cover will pop off and you need a torx screw driver to take it off.. Fairly simple compared to a GM vehicle.
The cover should pop off (just grab around the edge of the handle toward the center circular part and pull). Move it off to one side, and stick a Torx screwdriver down in there. Not sure on size, sorry. Unscrew it and the thing pops right off.
ok , so more towards the door panel i can just tug hard , it'll pop off , then uunscrew w/torx wrench? OK thanks i'll give it a go......awesome response time....I expected to wait! thanks again
Yep just pop the little cover off, unscrew the Torx, pull the handle off (you may want to re-orient it when you put it back on so it doesn't rattle as bad if you crank the music as it sits in front of the speaker in some positions).
Your truck may be slightly different, but on mine (no power windows, locks, mirrors, etc.), I just had to pull the handle, lock the door, unscrew a screw on the top front of the door and the bottom rear, and then give a good firm shove up, and it popped right off.
lol, i think i've had all the door panels off all of the vehicles i've owned/driven at one time or another. But yeah, ditto on the torx. It actually might be benificial to get a nice set of torx bits as there are some every here and there on these trucks, like on the MAF, those are security bits though, with a little stud in the top of them.
