Well I am finally done with my disc brake swap. I know it has taken a little over 3 months to get all the parts, time, and motivation to bring it all together. I can say this swap is worth its weight in gold. I think all in all I paid $400 with all the misc parts, chrome 7" dual diaphram booster, new brake lines, wheel cylinders, and shoes. But I can stop on a dime without praying for dear god to stop me. I was always a bit nervous of getting too deep in the gas pedal. But anyways, anyone need a free front drum system? Private message me if you are interested.
One word of advise to all those out there that haven't thought of doing the swap at least think about the cost of rebuilding your drum system compared to the disc brake swap. It makes no sense to spend the money unless you are doing a complete restoration.

Count my amen ahmen aman too.
No chrome parts, but I bought my donors sold parts that I didn't use and my brake upgrade didn't cost me any money.
