Like I mentioned before in another post that I just purchased a 2006 F150 Lariat Supercrew black on black. I was wondering if anyone had any kind of leather conditioners/care products they would recommend? The black leather is fine and I would like to keep it that way. I noticed before that black leather tends to fade more than other colors and I want to keep that rich color as long as possible but I don't want that greasy Armor All look. What ever I use I want the leather to go back to its natural satin sheen and not like a high gloss Crisco finish. Any suggestions?
The one thing I don't like about my new F150 is the way the hood opens like the Dodge Ram. I can't stand that. Anyway I was looking at how the hood is formed, put together and what not. I was wondering if anyone had installed an aftermarket bugshield on their F150 and the difficulty of the job? Was there any drilling? My 2000 F150's bug shield just snapped into place but this one is leaving me a little puzzled. It's probably easier than I imagine but looking at how close the grill is to the proposed hood I just don't see how the plastic bug shield is going to find its way in between that. So if anyone out there can fill me in on this and the cost then I'm all ears. Thanks.
LEXOL leather conditioner. There is also a LEXOL ph balanced cleaner. Two of the best leather products available. Lexol conditioner will completely absorb into the leather and leave no film behind. As always, try it on an inconspicuous area first. If you can't find it, let me know. I know of some sources.
Under no circumstances shoule you use armorall or ANY prodcuct intended for vynil use.

shooter...installing the bug shield is a snap. Just pop the hood, look up and forward to see the mounting nuts for the grill (8 of them) along the top. Loosen them up, slide the bugshield in, and retighten the nuts (firmly but not too tight).
