reverse lights blowing fuse???

I have a 97 F250LD and the reverse lights are blowing the fuse out??? So when the fuse blows I have no temp control, a/c, revese lights, and no cruise control(not that its hooked up anyway still waiting for Ford to fix it). I am sure the lights are the problem everything else works till i put it in reverse and (pop) there goes the fuse. Does anybody know what might be causing this problem or how to fix the problem.. I really need help here.

I would start by checking at the reverse lights. Check for bad bulbs or sockets, wiring rubbed through etc. You might try unplugging the big connector near the rear bumper and then see if the fuse still blows. If it doesn't then you'll know the problem is in the harness to the lights.
