Need help on my 2004 f150
If anyone can help me out here. I have a very noticeable noise that begins to occur on my truck when it warms up. It sounds very much like a compression problem, almost like a knock, but there is no oil is leaking, no loss of power. It is just a chugging noise in that happens when the truck is idling! Any ideas anyone? Could it be my Cam Shaft sensor? Something internally wrong? Any idea how to fix it without getting screwed?

It may be possible that it is a cam phaser problem that controls the camshaft timing. It is a good idea to have the dealer or a reputable repair shop check it out. Hopefully it is only a minor problem instead. Have it looked out and let us know what was found.
