Fuel MODS needed?

As you can see, I have done several mods since I have found FTE! I still have to flush my trans, sonnax mod, add the external filter and fill with syn. fluid.
I think that my next mods should be to address the fuel!
Can I get a list of fuel mods to do from "easy and cheap" to "need to save for". Thanks for the help!

Hey Bill,
WOW....you've got PMS bad!
Cheap: get rid of the quick disconnects from the tank to the pump. I bought
3/8" diesel rated rubber line and replaced the entire run.Left the stock one in place. These folks have a kit for $50 that some people have used:

Modified fuel delivery fix that Kwik uses with the stock regulator(under $100) or u can go external regulator( my set up with SS braided lines, about $400). Either one removes the tiny check valves and gives u good fuel flow and allows air to escape. Note: doing this mod will require extra fuel pumping capacity. Jeg's has
a nice 6psi 72gph pump(Carter P4070) for about $60:http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...0307&langId=-1

Nut,
Where did you put the pre-pump, pretty close to the tank? Did you wire in series with the factory pump? I think I am going to order one. Thanks.

Yes...i mounted it on the frame rail close to the tank feeds across from my inline fuel filter. Wired it inline to stock pump and i'm keeping extra fuses just in case. The stock pump is protected by a 20 amp fuse. Had to do some electrical cleaning on my stock pump connections. I apply conductive lube to the connections then reconnect. A shot of dielectric grease after helps seal out the enivironment. Ran some heavy guage(16gauge) outdoor electrical wire (for low voltage lighting).
BTW, i see that Jeg's is now a sponsor....cool!
