I got fixing manuals but no diagnosis manuals or knoledge of
brakes, I have a sticking wheel cylinder, little kicker in the seat sometimes but that ended, now the front pulls and provides no
brake action the back brakes work like brand new basically.
the truck is a 72 ranger camper special, power brakes or power
assist,something power. thanks for help!
Sounds like the front drums need to be adjusted. Start with the side the a re pulling to. IE if it pulls left do the left first. There is a STAR aduster just behind a slot on the back of the brake cover. a insert a screw driver and turn which ever way they get easier to turn. They will turn opposite directions. You want them loose enough to just barely hear them drag. Not enough to add much resistance. Ajdust those and see what that gets you.
I would replace the wheel cylinders, they are cheap. Also, put in new springs and the other misc hardware. I would replace the adjuster if the teeth look worn.
