Quick EGR quesstion

My truck has been starting pretty rough after sitting all night. Wether you go outside and start it at 6am or 11pm when its warm out. No matter how warm it is, it still wants to run rough for about 3-5minutes after starting and then its fine. I have a superchip, airraid intake and hollowed out cat, do you think it could be the egr valve? Im gonna try unplugging it now and see how it starts tomorrow. should i also clean it?

my 03 ( with 93K miles ) just started doing the same thing. i started using a cetane booster and it has pretty much cleared up.

i use a fuel additive which i believe contains cetane. i unplugged my egr valve and it deff seemed better on start up and when i towed my horse trailer today my mileage shot up about 3mpg????? my dad couldnt believe it. Im going on a 400 mile trip tomorrow so im gonna check the mileage with it unplugged. Check the digital one in the truck and do the math on paper.
