I installed a 6" basic kit to my 05 f-350. I had a leveling kit before that. Anyone know if I could add the leveling kit to make it a little higher? If not, what can I do to go higher without having to purchase a new lift kit?
well, since you have coil springs up front, i would say yes, you could add the leveling kit to it... however... i would not recommend this. it changes other things also..such as shock travel distances, brake lines, trac bar, etc. does the truck sit fairly level right now? if so, then you would need to compensate in the rear also. the easiest and cheapest way to get the extra inches, is to add a body lift. you can go up to 3 extra inches, for just a few hundred dollars. some people are not fans of them though. they are fine for a street driver, but any serious off roader would go just with susp lift. then one more issuse comes into play.... if you do go a few more inches, yes you will get more wheel clearance, and that could make it look "goofy". goodluck !
