Recall

Took my F350 6.0 in for recall for the degas bottle recall. The dealer put new label on the bottle But did not take any fluid out of it?

That is odd. I took mine in for different recalls but they put that new sticker on the bottle and took out some fluid for me.

Stupid question but did you check it when it was cold ? At operating temp it may show higher. Just a thought.

Yes it was cold I feel I got a lazy teck so now i know not to take my truck to that dealer again!

Took mine in for the recall, they took out coolant but did not put the new label on will ot go back until I have to as don't want another flash. If there is a new one.

Ok, is there a recall on the coolant resevoir or not? I had to have mine replaced as it would not hold pressure anymore and the fluid kept on blowing out. Out of warranty cost of like $300.00. The new bottle has a new lable showing Min and Max lines different then the lines emmbossed on the bottle. Did I get ripped off for a new resevoir or what? If there was a recall what was the service program# and for what year trucks?

I don't mind taking my on out but the dealer gets paid by ford to do it. All I am saying if the teck shortcuts this what else does he take shortcuts on.
