diesel Kleen additive

I went to Walmart today to get some summer blend additive in the grey bottle. I went to cash out and they refused the sale, the manager stated that they could not sell it to because of a recall on the product. So I went back and atempted to purchase a bottle of the winter blend ( the white bottle). Went to try and cash out, and they refused the sale again. Has anybody heard about a recall or anything wrong with the product.

I bought DK in grey bottle a few days ago - no problem. Maybe somebody else knows or we should check their website.

I bought a bottle a week ago with no problem. It looks like they would take it off the shelf or put up a sign if it were recalled. It is regulated, do you look over 21 or so?

Twenty bucks says he did not have his code card to approve your purchase because it is a restricted product. The PowerService web site has nothing on recall.

Smile Question

Ok - I'll bite, why is DK considered a "restricted product"?

Sounds fishy to me.

Yep just bought some from Wally World a few days ago and was going through the self checkout. It set off an alarm stating it was a restricted product. Attendant came over, swiped her card. I asked her why it was restricted. She said that kids are sniffing it to get high. After I went out to the parking lot and put it in the tank, I admit, I took a little sniff....man that was nasty. I can't imagine sniffing it enough to get high...yuck !!!!

Sniffing it to get high. BS, how. Now, Power Service does not actually smell that bad, I have not tried any of the others yet.

Nothing would surprise me with some of the kids now a days. There is hardly a day goes by that I don't come across some kids down by a creek or some other isolated area that have their face covered with spray paint. I try telling them that they are literally killing their brain cells, but usually to no avail. Some of the things I've seen on the street used to get high would blow our old minds.....
