Anybody know if a 93 EB with premium sound and a cassete player would have a external amp because as soon as I get my bronco back from the paint shop I would like to install my stereo(head unit) as they are putting in my new speakers and would like to know before hand.

According to my custom shop the premium CD was only to have it .

Thanks bro! Just like the man said, it's right above between the brake and gas pedal and it was a 7mm socket with a long extension to get the two screws out. I got it last night and it's nice to have an aftermarket in there now that can play mp3 cd's!

Although guys, be advised that the area the stereo goes into is not too deep. I put in a sony cdxf7715x model, and it wouldn't seat into the stereo locking sleeve and it sticks out about a quarter or two of an inch. Was late last night, so gonna look at it this afternoon to see what I gotta modify or maybe remove the factory stock bracket in the rear to get it to seat and lock into the sleeve.

(7 1/4 X 2 1/8 X 6 3/8 w/h/d)

(Mine is a 96 bronco that had the factory cd player in the dash)

You can get a wiring harness from crutchfield that makes it easier to plug into the bronco harnesses.

Now to spend some time running some real good speaker wires and patch cables to install some amps and a bazooka!
