abs troubleshooting

My 93' has the ABS light on and I checked the codes and it appears to be a 17 code. I had one long flash and then 7 quick ones.Which could be many problems it seems. One problem could be the relay for the ABS.Could someone tell me which relay is the ABS one?I had cleaned the sensor(on Diff) off on Monday and the light went out until Wed. night.I cleaned it off again and it came back on within a 6 mile drive.Should I replace the sensor?

Idno, i dont give much stock to idiot lights myself. My rear ABS light has been on for 6 months now with no change in braking feel or ability at all. Ive driven manual brake cars, and ive driven cars where the ABS was going out, id know if the ABS wasnt working. Now someday i'l rememebr to grab the tuner from the shop and pull the codes, but until then i just ignore the light.
