I'm starting to get a little nervous about my transmission safety. I'm running around 425hp and 510fp. The C-6 has a tow and go package and GV overdrive behind it. It shifts realy hard. Any experience out there in what hp range a flak blanket would be needed?
I remember reading about girdles for C6's in the late '60s. There are none to be found via google or the other sites, so I think the troubles they had back then are fixed via other methods these days. Seems like case flexing at 800 hp was what I recall.....
These folks don't talk about girdles, shields or blankets, so you are probably safe, unless you want the "gee whiz" factor of the extra hardware or blankie....
