What is this? Under dash.

Up under the dash, behind the fuse panel, right up against the parking brake is a rectangular metal box, partially covered with plastic. Anyone able to tell me what this is?

Thanks!

I am not sure exactly what that does, but here is my question. It has two tabs with holes on the plastic covering the metal. I want to use those holes to bolt a small axillary buss fuse block there to wire in a few additional power supplies. I can't think of any reason why this would be a bad idea since the tabs are unused and it would not compromise the module, but just want to check.

The PCM runs the engine and transmission. As long as you're not drilling into the PCM itself, why not. I don't think you'll mess up anything or knock anything loose since its 104-pin connector on the other side of the firewall is actually bolted secure into the PCM.

Amazing! Such a big job in such a little box. No drilling, the tabs with the hole are already there on mine.

Thanks for the replies!
