Stuck brake drum

Is there and easy way to free the drum on my 65 F100? it's the rear and I tried pounding on it, towing and prying with no luck. Thanks, Tom

Did you ajust the tensioner all the way in?

Loosen the adjuster, and then use a good rust buster. I use PB Blaster, and have come to love it. My brakes were all stuck and wouldn't move at all. I loosened the adjuster then hit the 6 o clock position on the drum with a hammer, and they popped right off. You have got to make sure you hit that center ring on the drum with some oil or rust buster. My center ring was severly rusted.

If the shoes aren't dragging and it is stuck to the axle, heat the flange between the studs and the axle lip evenly, when it pops it will slide right off if the shoes don't catch on the drum.
