I want to put a battery cutoff switch on my 95 F250 and my 92 F150 when they are stored.
I have seen a few of these switches and have some questions to anyone who might have used them in the past.
First, I would like the kind with the removable key. With these I have found them rated for 300 AMPs. They don't say if they can handle more for starting or what.
Also, my battery cables are stock but quite large, I am not sure how to put a wire connector on such a large wire.
you can use that switch. you have to buy a tool to put the lug on. its about $75. or you can use a blunt punch and a 3lb mallet. you should use 2g wire
