Haha, I love hearin stories about that night from my parents. They were around 23rd street when it hit. Also, you should get your sons on FTE. We could use more people from this part of the state!!!!
That was a strange night! I wasn't scared till it was over and I saw the damage. Lot of good memories from when I lived there, lot of sad ones also.
I have been to Cozad more in the past 6 months than anywhere else in the state for the past 10 years: recent loss of a family member. I even managed to get stuck in Kearney this past Thanksgiving weekend. I told my boys (yeah right, they're 21) I'm going to come and just vacation someday. Looks like I may be up in June, don't know for sure yet.
