I need an oil filter adapter, after modifying my truck, new front end, power steering power brakes so and on, it seems that even with the shortest of filters on, it's still hits the steering box. So I need to relocate filter how do I get the right parts to do this? I have a 1964 f100 with a 292 I also have headers on it this kinda ads to the complications. What do you guys suggest? Thanks
I have one of the Hayden universal models. You will need to decide where to mount the filter, and how you want to run the hoses between the bypass (mounted on block), and the filter, and how long the hoses will need to be. Hoses usually are purchased separately. Make sure they are rated for pressure and temperature.
Edit: Checked the links and for some reason unknown they are not working.
Search on the Speedway Motors and Hayden Automotive sites. Think the picture is in my gallery.
