I am looking for a manual for my 1960 4x4. I found a number on the net in both hard copy and cd rom but not to much specificaly relating to 4x4.
Any recomendations on a comprehensive manual.
Ford put out a small handbook for 59 and 60 ford 4x4's that includes drive train, adjustments, specs, and overhaul. Every once in a while one comes up for sale on E-bay. The 1960 ford shop manual which you can get used or reproduction is pretty informative too which covers transfer case, front axle, etc. Good luck.

I have the standard 1960 Ford truck shop manual and it covers all aspects of the 4x4--I believe .
And I also have the handbook for the F100/F250 4x4s put out by Ford--not all that much information in that--it is only 30 pages or so. The handbook has several photos--compared to the shop manual that has all drawings.
I would suggest getting the standard 1960 Ford Truck Shop manual.
