AFE stage 2 question
Hi everyone..... New member here. I have a quick question about my afe stage 2 intake i just installed in my Stroker..
Is the Filter element Pre oiled at the factory? I was told it was from the shop were i bought the kit from ....but i dunno after i installed everything and had a look at the filter it sure didint seem very oily out of the box.
I hope iam just being paranoid lol.... but i wont drive my truck down the street untel i know this filter comes pre oiled...its dusty out here in Alberta

But if you want to erase any doubt, simply take your filter out and oil it.

Sliptank, I had the same question on my ProGuard-7 filter and did call the factory. They said they are pre-oiled and do not need oiling until you clean them. You can see what mine looked like to compare in my gallery. Hope to hear from you again!

Hey thanks for the quick reply guys..... Yeah Lushman i kinda figured that they would have to be oiled from the factory .... but better safe then sorry haha
