Thats how my stacks sound!!! I just love that turbo whine!! I am not chipped yet and everyone figures shes a rocket because of the sound it makes. Gotta love it!!!!!!

 

hmm im guessing you have a crew cab, and thats the camera sitting on the RR doorstep with the door open, and a forward-of-wheel side exit? sounds good, but i wish you could have gotten one from the outside of the truck maybe standing 15' away looking at the tip.

This is not my truck. I just found this clip searching the net. I still cant make my mind up if I want to go straight piped or a muffler. The whine of the turbo sounds great. I bet he's got a WW.

 

I love the whine its the best sound. Its also the sound when your going dow nthe roand and you can hear that turbo spool up. I had better stop now.

 

I just ordered my 5" last week and can not wait. I had another F350 pass me the two weeks ago after a 4 way stop and with my window down. The whine of the turbo made mine ears hirt as he went by. As I looked in my rear view I could see 5" exhaust and it had to be a WW............man that hirt, but loved it!!!!!

 

That does sound nice. I've been thinking 4" straigt, now I have to rethink it.

I would almost say that is not a stock turbo sound either - that is a LOT of turbo whine! That really does sound a lot like mine with stacks and the BB turbo!!

 

my stock turbo with my 4 inch straight pipe sounds like that. i can hear it whine at idle, especially when i shut the truck off and all you hear is the turbo winding down

My exhaust is just the stock exhaust, but straight piped (muffler delete, and never had a cat). Mine sounds just like that clip.
