I just bought four cab mounts from LMC Truck to install. They are of two types. I am unsure which ones go forward and which pair goes aft. Who can help? And thanks in advance.
WOFP,are you talking about the sheet metal mounts under your feet at the cab floor? There are only two,one on the left side and one on the right side. You should have one left and one right side and that's all.

I have four cab mounts to install; two at my feet and two just under the rear of the cab near the fuel tank. The mounts are different, depending on location. I'm not sure which pair goes in the front near my feet, and which are installed aft. Also, does anyone have one or two time-saving tips?
I am also a little confused by your question because, as others have said, there are two cab mounts for the front corners but the cab bolts directly to the frame on the back. Here are two photos. The first shows the front mount and the second, the rear. You can see the rubber cushion on the rear with the bolt mounting to the frame. The bracket you see under that is for the cross member. I can get you some better photos tonight if you need them.

I have a 77 f100 and im currently working on taking the cab mounts off. I started with the rear mounts and was able to get the bolt out but for the life of me i cannot remove the bushing the lower bushing under the frame has the nut that welded to the bushing as far as i can see that runs up threw the top bushing. but i can get either of them off after taking the bolt out. any help would be great thanks...
The lower bushing has an extended tube going up through it, that is threaded on the inside. This tube tends to rust into the upper bushing, and needs to be knocked out or cut apart. I have used a sawzall and a hacksaw to seperate these before, as well as knocking the lower part through with a punch.
Jor and all-thanks for the photos and advice! I plan to lift the cab and end at a time and install each pair. Seems like all I have to do is raise the cab a couple of inches to free the old bushings and replace them. The pix did the trick...
Wofp, Did you get your mounts installed? Did your mounts include the new steel pieces? Were core support mounts available? Were you happy with the mounts? Thanks, Douglas
haven't had time to install yet. ordered from LMC Truck. four steel bolts with double rubber gaskets each. looks simple to do if i can pry old bolts out
Today, I located the top of the right front mount by unscrewing the access plate just forward of the mount in the wheel well. I tried to jack the housing up in order to separate it from the cab and allow me to knock the lower rubber gasket out. I was unable to gain that separation. I did not want to keep jacking and have the lower part suddenly fall down, so I just eased the whole thing back down. Do I need to jack both sides simultaneously? Anyone have experience doing this?
The right mount has no bolt or tube; the cab is simply sitting on the bushing. What is the mount pedestal? I'm sure the left mount will need some horizontal sawing...
