I would like to find out about aftermarket rotors, I’m looking to get a set of slotted and drilled rotors, I see people talking about power slot rotors but as I do a search I find there are tons of other name brands out there. They range from $300-$700 for a set of 4. My question is how do I know what is good and not good, I know about you get what you pay for but I’m on a very tight budget. Any help would be greatly appreciated.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
I also would like to add, I did a search on e-bay and they have F/R or F&R rotors for about $250 and $300 (set of 4) zinc plated. anyone have any exp with these. They all make them sound so much better then the other brands. thanks for any help.
.You want a rotor that is cryogeniclly hardened.

Why both Slotted and drilled? I ask because it is known that drilled rotors tend to crack over time with heat. They work great at the race track...not so great on a 7000+ lb SD. Just a FYI...
Slotted on the other hand...is a great idea for allowing the heat to escape the surface of the rotor.
Brand: I use PowerSlot. Love the rotor over OEM. Also use the HAWK brake pads. Purchased from a FTE sponser...with a 8 or 12% discount depending on what you purchase. http://www.buybrakes.com/
