hydroboost

The suburban I am driving has the hydroboost on it, it works very well, makes it feel like you are braking a small car. It does add a bit of mess under the hood though, but I feel the improvement is well worth it.
No problem Jim, just wanted to make sure there was no confusion.Luis, the swap requires a hydro booster and new hydraulic lines. That's really all there is to it. I used a booster from a new SuperDuty (diesel app) but it does require some work to get it mounted up and get the length on the push-rod correct. If you're not into fabbing your own stuff up I'd suggest doing a search in this forum or in the brake forum for "hydroboost" as there's a link to a site that will sell a whole kit, ready to bolt in with hoses and all that mess. I had my lines made at a local hose shop, custom fit to my application but the lines alone ran about another $100, plus $100 for the used booster.
