Warn hub trouble
I just got a set of warn premium hubs (#38826) for my 70 f250. The front axle is a dana 60 out of a 78 f250. I've worked on dana 44s before and never ran into trouble. The problem is I can't get the large lock ring to go in. The one that holds the hub body inside the wheel housing. I got the axle retainer on, no problem. It seems like the hub isn't sliding into the wheel housing far enough. I am using the lock ring from the original hubs. Do I have the right rings or was I supposed to get new ones with the hubs? Any ideas? Thanks.

I am running the stock 30 splines. I think I forgot to engage my brain. The new lock rings were under the other hub in the box. I found the after installing both hubs with the stock lock rings. That was a pain to get them in and even more to get out! Thanks for your help, man I feel stupid!
Give me a normal snapring any day.
