I was driving down the road the other day, and came upon a farmer crushing old cars etc. Stopped and talked with him, he only had 1 Ford, everything else was IH. .............Around the corner of the barn was a 1956 F-600 cab,front-end and running boards. ABSOLUTLY BEAUTIFUL!!! He gave it to me for free and even loaded it! I posted the pic's of it this morning in my gallery, check it out!!
I've been waiting to find just the right F-600 cab, do I smell a new project..................................
Wow, that is a great find! How is the metal where the fenders were sitting on the ground? The price of the grille alone would be worth about $150 if it is as good as it looks in the pics!

.0 Rust. It's setting on 6x6 blocks. Found only 2 small dings you could cover with a dollar bill. The paint between the fender and the cab is shiny and un-faded! Interiour is just as good. Yes the grill is flawless, no paint required!
WOW! Good score - you know what they say about being in the right place at the right time! Glad you were there to save it. Now how about telling where you hang out so that I can go and cruise around? New project for sure!

I live on the Columbia river in Oregon, a looong drive for you. But your welcome anytime.....coffees always on!
Went to the Portland Swap Meet today, looking for a pair of ECZ-G heads. Found nothing after walking for HOURS! Then ran into a guy that has 4, 312's and 2, 292's, he has to move and can't take them with him. Sooooo I asked what he was going to do with them..............long story short he sold all of his Y-block engines and extra parts to me for $500!!! With the luck I've had this week I think I'll take the wife to Reno next weekend.........

I need a guy like you to come down here and hunt a flathead for me. Nice find on the truck.

There is quite a bit of flatty stuff around here, what are you looking for? Maybe I can help. At another farm down the road from me, the owner has been asking me to come look over some flatheads he's saved and now want's to get rid of.
