You know they are doing a thing on the Visa web site-You fill in the blanks. The best one will be chosen for the commercial. mine wouls be like-
Vintage truck-5,000, cost to restore it with your son-$10,000, Your sons first driving lession in your vintage truck that just took six years to build-Priceless.
There is quite a bit of flatty stuff around here, what are you looking for? Maybe I can help. At another farm down the road from me, the owner has been asking me to come look over some flatheads he's saved and now want's to get rid of.
FABMANDELUX.
fabman,
Appreciate the offer but being that you are in Oregon and I am in Texas the shipping costs will kill the deal even if the engine were free. I am looking for an entire engine or at least a good block. I want it for a truck that interstingly enough was found for my by a fellow FTE member in Oregon. Gas prices were under $2.00 a gallon at the time and I fell into a deal to get it here. I'm afraid that shipping an engine may cost me more than I would pay for the engine. Now if you are planning a trip to Houston (or Dallas for that matter) and could carry it along with you it might work out.
I have a couple of fires in the oven right now. Hoepfully one turns out for me. I'm venting frustration at the difficulty I am having locating an engine than anything else.

Maybe I can still help: I've got several friends in the trucking industry that go to texas on a regular bases...........I'll check with my farmer buddy and see just what he has this week and if I can pick them up for little or nothing I'll see what I can do to get you one. They are probably 8-BA's since they came out of farm trucks, is that ok? I just need one for my 35 Ford pick-up, anything else is just extra to me.
