Hey Woodyp, there's no problem with the column because the AOD's just show 1,2,and a D with a circle around it. It doesn't show all four gears on the indicator.
Buckethead5k, Same thing happend to me. Got it all installed, put it in gear and nothing. If you're going to have it rebuilt go to a good trany shop and have him do the upgrades like the HD units behind the bigger engines. Mine cost about $1200.00. Not cheap but I never have to worry about my trans failing.
