Common psd Idle Problems

I have been helping a guy try to get his truck running better. The truck is a 1995 f-350srw 5spd.manual with a Power Stroke. The truck Idles rough I hooked up my snap -on scanner and came up with several KOEO codes no KOER codes.
I replaced the IPC sensor and that code dissapered but the problem still exists. The next codes say that each injector has a High/Low side open. The next code says Exhaust pressure control valve perform. The next codes says High Side open Bank 1 and High Side Open Bank 2.
Where should I start and what does it mean high side low side maybe it is obvious ?

first thing i would do is chekc the troubleshooter in the scanner for the codes that are present. it will be very helpful. maybe you already have but if not go there first. for now don't worry about the exhuast backpressure code. but the high side open codes are a problem. each injector has a high side wire and a low side wire going to them. each of these wire come from the injector driver module (idm). the high side is common to each bank. it is also uses one wire to go out to the injectors. in the 94.5 to 97 trucks since there is 2 valve cover connectors it may use two wires to each bank or it may just split. it is possible that the idm is shot, or its a wiring issue between the idm and the injector. the best place to start testing is to get a wiring diagram and unhook the idm connector (idm is on the drivers side fender directly behind the fuse panel silver box about 2x12x8) using the wiring diagram measure the resistance between the high and low side wires of each injector. it should be 5 ohms or less. if you get more than 5 ohms you have wiring or injectors problems.

I have what sounds to be a similar problem. Where did you find the wiring problem. Mine seems to have a miss, or rough idle. I have clean screen, changed fuel filter, Diesel Kleen and IDM swap still no resolve.

Ive got the same troubles here, at times it will idle fine for a few days and then with out reason it starts to idle low 500- 550 rpm with a bad flutter, with slight pressure on the throttle it goes away, all other aspects of engine are normal.. I am scratching my head on this big time , dont know what to try to make matters worse I do'nt have scan tools......... Any thoughts are appreciated

I would like to know what you found wrong. Mine has a slight rough idle. I have some ideas but have not taken the time to work on my truck.
