Blue CPS?
Is there anything better/worse about the blue CPS? I don't have a backup and I'm guessing mine is waiting for me to go waaaay out in the country before kicking the bucket. Some web sites offer a *new* improved! ~blue~ CPS. It appears to go for $105. What do you guys think? Hunt on ebay for a black one, pay a ton for the Ford one, get the IH one (it changed in '97 lucky me my truck is a '97) or try out the blue one?

This topic was dicussed in this forum a few months back. Some say it made a difference, some didn't.
The ford replacement is no different than the cheaper ones on ebay. Just $$.
I keep one in the glove box along with a 10mm wrench and a screwdriver to pry out the old one.

I changed mine out to a blue one. Didn't notice any real difference. My mileage average did go up about 1mpg but I did switch to syn oil at the same time too.
It works fine ... no harm no foul.... threw my old one in the glove box as a spare.
