E-4WD warning light blinking twice...

E-4WD warning light blinking twice...
for about the first 2 minutes of operation after starting. Any ideas as to what that exactly means. The diff fluid is all new and filled along with a complete rebuild of the diff gears. The 4wd is working fine as well so I'm stifled. I've actually had a helluva time with 97. A bunch of new parts in this 95k van.

Clutch connector or clutch coil has discontinuity.
common failure in the AWD Aero
check, clean and apply silicone dieletric grease to displace moisture on the multi conductor cable plug and socket connections on the transfer case main wiring harness and the 2 wire clutch plug/connector going into the transfer case on the passenger side top of transfer case....water, corrosion and oil leaks cause intermittent electrical problems with AWD computer self test on ignition on and while running
use electrical contact spray cleaner and Q tips/pipe cleaners to clean the connectors
small brass tube brushes work well also
complete step by step troubleshooting and service procedure in Ford Truck Aero Service CD, avail on eBay and internet
