Anyone been to Belize??
I'm thinking about traveling to Belize for our honeymoon in late December for a week and was wondering if any of y'all have ever been traveled there before.
I've been looking at this company to be our guide and resort while we're in country: Green Dragon / Belize Jungle Dome

I was on a cruise around there that stopped at Belize City. Biggest waste of time if you were just going to the city, and there were armed guards at the gates. I wouldn't really recommend going there unless you are planning on having a guided tour of something every day.

We're going guided...
I've got a proposed itinerary of:
D1: Arrive, tour Belize City Zoo, travel to resort.
D2: Subterranean river tubing / tree to tree zipline
D3: Horseback jungle sightseeing / pyramid trip
D4: Fly to small private island w/our own bungalow off of coast, snorkel, snorkel
D5: Snorkel, snorkel, snorkel...did I mention snorkel (among other things
)?
D6: Go home!
So far...around $2k for all inclusive package. We were planning to go to DisneyWorld (I've never been..) but Disney will always be there, I want to go somewhere different and memorable!
