Any codes? SES light? What chip? Regulated fuel return flows more fuel which generates more HP with any given performance chip, some more than others,
thereby creating more heat.
Nut
no codes, ses light yes,, but was coming on befor to overboost i believe, running hypertech 80 hp chip i belive, i'll get more details on all my mods soon,,,
If your pulling a trailer over 6000 lbs and i'm sure you are with four horses you need to turn that HP down to about 40 if possible it will cause way to much EGT
and things will start to cook as for as the long crank cycle could be bad o-rings on injector or air in hpo line in head causing injector stall. Does it miss or smoke heavly on start up and /or is it thinning out the oil from diesel wash?
You need to get it on a scanner that can read the hpop pressure when starting. My ipr wnet out last year ans was doing the same thing. The hpop has to build 500psi before the injectors will fire. Mine was taking awhile to build the pressure. Hope this helps!
