I have a 2003 F 250 with a 6.0 diesel which has been fully "Bullet Proofed" I have an oil leak that occurs when the truck is parked level or facing up hill on the driver's side. (on the exhaust) I was told it is usually the ICP or IRP both have been replaced but I still have the leak and I am unable to see where its coming from. Any suggestions?
It's IPR
Injection Pressure Regulator.
Yes that could be the problem and will only get worse
when it starts to erode the wires on that plug.
You should dig into it to make sure that is the leak
and if it is then replace the regulator and the harness
plug end.
Could be valve cover bolt or glow plug harness. I have seen a lot of 6.0 that people have worked on that have left that back bolt out because it's in a tight spot.
