Engine & Transmission Swap
Here it goes, I finished restoring my 1973 F100. So now I'm looking to do a custom job on my 1978 F100 Flareside. The truck currently has a 300 inline 6, 3 speed, and 9" rear. What will I need to drop in a 351W H.O. and C6 Auto.
Heres the list I've come up with.
Motor Mounts (Will I need new perches too?)
Transmission Mount, Crossmember, and Driveshaft Yoke
Kick down lever & B&M Shifter
Radiator & Cooling Lines For Auto
Alternator Bracket (Alternator will be my only accessory unless you count w.p.)
Am I mssing anything.

Heavier set of front coil springs.
Engine towers (perches) for a 302.
Exhaust pipes.
Will need engine oil, oil pump sump facing toward rear of engine.
Shorten driveline and have a machine shop weld and balance with slip yoke for c-6.
The existing crossmember should work.
