Easy question,hopefully...
My power steering pump belt cut a hole in the gas line I forgot
to tie down,now the belts squeek slightly(hope it's the belts)
but they appear tight enough. Would gas do this to my belts
or is there another problem?

Easy question,hopefully...
I do believe that gasoline eats (rots) rubber so I would recommend a new belt. Anyone please correct me if I am wrong
